Do you know if theres a place to get the black toyota emblem overlay for the steering wheel? Meso and AJT got the hammer from toyota and i cant find them anywhere else.

Honestly I took my long bed for granted with my first taco. Someone bought a TRD Sport DCLB the morning I was about to drive to Tucson to buy so I settled for my short bed. Once you utilize it moving stuff, camping, trips, etc... you will realize its 100% worth it. Nice truck!

 

Awesome, you've already done more off-roading with that than I will probably ever do with my TRD Pro haha.

 

Picked up a grill guard the other day. Might need to lower it a bit in order to use the front crawl camera, but that is a future me problem.

I've seen maybe 3 voodoo blue tacomas in my life.

 

This thread has me chomping at the bit to buy a new truck. I sold my white SR Access Cab last year in the wake of being laid off for 3 months, and I'm just about ready to buy a brand new TRD Off-Road in Voodoo Blue, with a manual transmission, TRD lift kit, and the fancy TRD skid plate.
I'll order(or request, whatever) the thing around Christmas time, and hopefully see it next spring in all its Smurfy glory... (wait time is to get closer to my kid starting kindergarten so I'm not paying $800 a month for daycare)
I can't friggin wait.

 

From my understanding Voodoo Blue is no longer available for 2022 model year. We are already getting close to 2021 model year production ending if it hasn't already.

 

Absolutely ! Here in the "Metroplex" I've seen a few fellow VooDoo Blues and I park right beside them or in front of them ! I love this color......

I sure hope they replace it with something that doesn't suck. I may just spend some money rebuilding my Subaru and not even buy anything else.

Man. I can't believe how much this news ruined my evening. They got rid of all of the colors I like, and replaced them with crap, so I'm stuck with black, white, or grey, which are all lame as hell settling for what's left colors.
I was excited about getting a new truck, and now I'm just pissed. Lol.
At least my Subaru has a trailer hitch....

 

Well maybe not. Like Evan_P said, there is no more VooDoo Blue in 2022. Why not go to your local dealership on Monday and special order a 2021 VooDoo Blue, manuel transmission ? All they require is $500 deposit. I have done this three times for a 2014, 2016, and 2020. There's still four more months left to make a special request. This is probley your best chance.

 

I do appreciate this idea, as it could work, but I don't have a suitable down payment just yet. I could easily swing the $500, but I needed to swing a fat down payment at it to keep the monthly payment within the target range, and I might not be ready when the truck is.
I'll be ok. When I bought my 2017, I wanted Magnetic Grey, and got stuck with a white one. Maybe I'll get that this time.. it's boring, but still looks nice.

 

I believe one of the new colors of 2022 is like a bright green. IDK if there is a new blue that is going to be available or not though.

 

New blue for 2022 will be blue crush metallic.

 

Meh. It is ok. I just think the VooDoo and the Calvary are better colors.
