I'm also on iRacing. For the plast few months I've been on Snow runner A LOT. It's fun, it's something different. You don't need the level of perfection that you need for track racing but you only need to be precise enough and let the bad ass trucks go you through the rest of it. Lol

Iracing definitely has a high level of competition but I enjoy it . I dont get a lot of time to play but I got a second place podium last weekend in D class .

Recently upgraded from triple 1080P monitors to a Gigabyte G34WQC 1440p 144hz ultrawide with some cheapo portable 15.6" IPS panels on the side. Fantastic upgrade, ultrawide really is a gamechanger, and it's nice to give my 3080 something proper to drive.

I really like that . I've been wanting to do something similar with my setup but I'm moving out of state in the next year and already have to build a crate for 5 large screens and my g9 .can I get a pic of the mounting ? I weld my own stuff up and am interested in seeing my next challenge.

It's an Ergotech triple monitor stand with the through-desk clamp upgrade.

Do you play borderless to switch to DIM like that? I run dual monitors and try to switch but borderless seems to act weird for me where it minimizes the game, other games I don't run into that but Destiny is/was weird.

Also bitchin setup, I may have to copy

    Yup, Windowed Borderless.
    Thanks!

So funny story, I actually returned the Gigabyte and replaced it with an ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B. Freesync caused massive brightness flickering with my 3080. Literally unusable. That, combined with how Gigabyte is treating people over the exploding PSU issue was enough to drive me to return it.

The ASUS still flickers, but not as badly. Still, I've turned VRR off. The colors are nicer on this monitor and it goes up to 165hz, but not at 10-bit color. Sigh. At this price point, there will always be compromises.

Looks cool, but I rather not be and early adopter of something that could potentially lose out to Nintendo.

It’s a work in progress. In between homes so nothing is pretty nor permanent. Between my Fully Jarvis and Embody, I am nearing complete zen. I’ve upgraded to a tempered glass mat which I am quite happy with compared to the plastic ones that love to dimple.

Sweet setup. What sims are you planning on using? Where are you setting up your mousepad?

I've been iracing mostly its also comfortable for controller gaming . I'm going to mount the mouse in the natural resting position of my right hand . With a shifter above that.I've got everything set up modularly . I've also got 1/4 carbon fiber sheets for the keyboard mount and mouse tray. I'm just waiting for the csl dd before I make my next move . Wish it would get here because I'm kind of limited computer wise at the moment and the side table isn't very comfortable for mouse use to be honest.

I have a lot of hope for it . More so than the switch that I got day one . It's just so bound up with nintendos games . I really only like breath of the wild . Even my boys have lost interest . I'm just waiting for botw2 I guess .
