If you can get your hands on a set of OEM 460 CV’s that’s the best course of action. They’re slightly beefier.

Anybody got torque specs for that job handy?

    Axle nut?
    Tie rod end?
Two bolts that connect the LCA to the knuckle?

Traded in my Taco for a 16 GX460 and loving it. Already installed my Dobinsons drawers in the back and got the Expedition Essentials device mount.

On Sept 15th I’ve got Dobinsons IMS and SPC UCAs getting installed with Icon Vector 6s in bronze wrapped in 33x12.5 Kendas. Also having the shop cut front and rear bumper with BMC.

My JW roof rack will be here tmrw and plan on installing then. I gotta get rid of the gold stripe going down the side but my issues is there’s a small piece covered on each door by a clear strip going all the way up. Anybody got some ideas on removing it?

Plan on plasti dipping all chrome and whole grill this wknd.

Lookin good! I’ve been checking out the Dobinsons drawers, I think that’s the route I’ll take one day. I have the IMS kit and it rides like a dream

As for the pin stripe, an eraser wheel is the easiest way. Not sure what you’re talking about with the clear strip? I’m guessing it’s door edge protection? May just need to do that part by hand, remove the top section since that part isn’t going to get dinged anyways.

    Enjoy the GX!

Yup.. it's the door edge protection I was hoping somebody would have a magical solution where I didn't have to remove that as well.

Did you install KDSS spacers when you did the lift? I've read mixed results on whether they are needed or not.

I didn’t. I have no lean or any contact anywhere. I’m lifted about 2” f/r

I may end up doing the panhard relocation, it’s at a bit of an angle but I haven’t noticed any odd ride characteristics

That's what I put on mine. Like $50 from Rock auto. It's held up really well. I did reboot the axle that came off of it. Just to do it. A reboot kit cost as much as a whole axle. Lol. That cardone has done a couple of rock crawling trips with no issues.

Have a KDSS spacer system and Panhard Bar Correction kit on hand, but found that they aren't needed right away. I plan on adding them all this winter as time provides. My setup with an OME heavy kit sits pretty level...

Made a better cup holder. Used a piece of scrap 2x8 I had laying around, cut it to fit, drilled out 3" holes and stained it gray. It was all things I already had so why not. It fits over the existing cup holder and fits pretty tight. So it's easily removed as well.
