Do you still have those u bolts I gave you? They’re brand new from Deaver - just wire wheel them. The spring perches should be all set unless you measured the pinion angle and it’s too off for some reason. I’d just get DMZ u bolt plates unless reinforcing some Ruff Stuff ones works better for the savings. Desolate Motorsports sells $50 bump strike pads.

Here’s my tie rod angle… seems a bit not level at all

Should I lower the front? I don’t have much adjustment left, maybe 1/4” of thread

First of all, that’s an impressively crusty setup. Secondly, those angles look fine to me, maybe a bit high. What length/weight coils are on there?

Edit: taking another look at your uca and upper uniball, you look like you’re almost out of droop. Hard to tell

Same thought here there’s no down travel left there. That’s pretty much no preload on those springs. They 700lb springs??

    Gotta love New England :jerkoff:

Yeah I have a bit of droop left actually! And those are 650lb springs. The tie rod angle seems a bit high. I was thinking of trying to find some tapered misalignment spacers and doing a heim setup where I could locate the tie rods at the top of the tab on the knuckles instead of going up from the bottom.
Rust and fresh powder coat flakes too!
Those are 650lb springs, and I think 13”? I installed them in 2017, so I don’t remember 100%. I did have 700lb springs before but it was brutal. Way too high and bouncy.

Should I try a shorter spring and some preload?

If you move your tie rod pivot locations you will mess with your bump steer. Hiems might offer more angle over the stock joint, but i wouldnt move the location.

You absolutely can not put your tie rods up top on stock spindles. As was said it will screw up bump steer. The spindle steering attach point has to be designed to either be from the top or bottom...it does not work both ways. If it were me Id go with a 600 lb spring same length. But i guess it depends on what your ride height is right now...Do you like it or does it need to be lower? If you like it lower it will help put the shock more into the middle of its travel and make for a nicer ride offroad. Currently you have almost no threads to get the ride height down anymore.
