Doesn’t matter about power seats. It makes a difference. They help out a bunch. Also add the nalgene chalk bag water holder.

You have a 2021....don't forget to consider the potential warranty issues of a tune. It's a risk vs reward decision everyone needs to make for themselves.

The seat jackers seem to be a good option. I'll look into getting them. Just wish they weren't $100, but I'm sure the benefit will easily outweigh the cost.

They do. There are cheaper options but due to BOCO you won’t have problems justifying it anyways.

Seat jackers may have been the first thing I bought when I finally owned the truck. Prior to actual ownership I had purchased quite a few mods (shift knob, front camera, bed bars, meso items, some other stuff I’m sure) but once I rode in the truck I was like oh man, this is not good. Then came across the desert does it, balked at the price, but ordered front and rear, passsnger and driver.

Why is the 2021 different with this than other years?

With the power seat you can lower the rear of the seat or raise the front with the push of a button. Achieving the same effect, but without putting your knees in the dash or the steering wheel in your thighs. Seat jackers are for chicken legged midgets.

Only to point that it's under warranty. No difference otherwise. Sorry if I confused things with the reference to the MY.

This should be up there on your list. It made freeway driving so much easier. Before the tune I was struggling to stay in the fast lane, always on the gas and after tune I’m just coasting in the fast lane. Makes driving the truck actually enjoyable and not sluggish. I saw a little mpg increase too.

Sirus/XM subscription, OEM LED Headlights. It doesn't sound like you are, but if you'll be traveling with other people add a two-way radio as well; way more easier for chatting then constantly calling each other on the phone.

+1 on the SiriusXM subscription. It's great to be able to listen to the same stations no matter where you are. My road trips go a lot faster listening to the old radio shows on the Radio Classics channel. (Yea yea I know but I'm an old fart so I'm allowed :))

I had the free 6 month subscription when I bought the truck earlier this year and was disappointed with the service. It was pretty spotty where I live. It cut out a lot to the point it got annoying. I used to have it on a different vehicle and it was great. I used to live in a big city then so not sure if that would make a difference.

Plug a crockpot into the bed and make some homemade chili while in the road. At piss stops get you some chips and chili.

Yeah. XM/Sirius requires line of sight to satellites in geosynchronous orbit around the equator. They also have some ground based repeaters in "populated" areas.
I don't think Grantham probably qualifies as a "populated area", and it's not unusual for trees in NH to get in the way of the "line of sight" thing.

Reception is great here in flat-as-a-pancake FL, but I used to live in northern VT, and while it did cut out occasionally the drops were few and far between. I only got a 3 month trial with my new truck so I renewed with the 6 month deal they offered me in mid August.

UV rated window film/tent makes a huge difference keeping the heat off of you when the sun is beating on the side of the truck when driving.

Dash camera if you don't have one already, ideally one with a dual mount that also covers the rear window. Won't help driving comfort, but if you'll be on the road a lot it's great to have if anything happens like an accident for insurance purposes. Also handy for just recording interesting stuff you might randomly see - I wish I'd had one when I almost ran into a bear in my work Jeep a couple years ago haha
