There going to be another single overpriced one on eBay very soon. I want more than what they sold them for so that’s why I haven’t listed it on here.

 

Did you happen to buy that off someone on IG? I saw someone post one a while back via Vilmont but he was asking an arm and a leg but eventually sold it. I was trying to buy it but he wouldn’t sell to me without the tire.

I didn’t snag it from that guy! What was he asking? I just listed locally for $450 with the new tire trying to get rid of it both wheel and tire at the same time.

 

He was asking the same I believe. I just saw your post on OfferUp. It’ll cost you a few bucks but I bet you’d have better luck pulling that tire off and selling the tire with the set of four tires you’re also selling them sell the rim all by itself.

 

the set of tires are sold, so that won’t work anymore. I don’t mind waiting for someone to cough up the dough to get the spare and have to sell off the extra tire themselves

 

I’ve been looking for these for a long time in graphite, hell any color but I’m not going to over pay. I was watching the $3200 listing on eBay as well and offered him $800 just to see if he would bite… I didn’t win the bid. ‍♀️

After he declined my $800 offer I offered him $700… for s’s and giggles.

That's just rude. You lowballed him and then insulted him with an even lower lowball. His price may be above market price but $800 is well below market price. If you can find a set for $800 then you should consider yourself lucky you're getting a hell of a deal.

 

Yeah these are going for about $300-400 a wheel so figure 1,200-1,6000 just for a set of (4) wheels. 1,200 would be lucky and would have 10 people rushing there in an hour lol

 

That’s why it’s an auction. It’s a bid.. they used to sell for $218/wheel at my local dealership and I regret not getting a set, and could have got the set for under $800 with my discount. You can bid whatever you want and the worst anyone can do is say no. Asking $800 per wheel is insane, however I can’t blame the guy because a sucker is born every day. don’t put my feelings into eBay bids or any bids for shiny objects made from metal. Sometimes people steal things and want to move a hot item quick. Idk the story behind them.. sometimes you win, it’s just stuff.. things are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I was hoping to get lucky like you said. Maybe an ex wife wanted to get rid of her husband’s toys ASAP and wanted the lowest bid.. these things happen;you just never know on the internet.

So, my local deader on the east coast was about to order a set of 4 bronze for me .. they supposedly have them in california … calls me back an hour later saying he cant get them unless my vin matches those wheels … hopefully they go back in stock soon :/

 

Seems these dealerships can’t get their answers straight. They told me black and bronze were gone and only 2 grey were left. I ordered those two grey and there’s no ETA on when or if they’ll ship.

I’d do some google searching, find a Tacoma or FJ for sale that came with these wheels and then use the VIN for that vehicle when you call the dealer. They don’t check to make sure you’re the owner, they just need a VIN to put into their computer.

Ordered online? I’ve ordered from two different dealerships who claim to have stock and then they message you a few days later stating they haven’t had them in stock for a long time. Hopefully it’s true you scored!
