    Here you would have to run mid grade to get the required 87 octane.

    Diesel is 3.19
    premium has dropped to 4.19
    midgrade is 3.89

    I wouldn’t give it a second thought. That was probably his most action he’s seen all weekend. Just explain to him if it happens again and I’m sure they’ll understand what a rwd lightly loaded rear of a taco will do with a little throttle on a low traction surface. Haven’t been to buck Motorsports in about 3 years, glad to hear they are still chugging. Last I was there was for a monster truck rally.

    I’ve been there three times this year, including tonight (well, last night now that’s it’s almost 1:30am)…

    I did not go at all in 2020 because they totally shut down due to COVID :(

    I wouldn't worry too much about it, you obviously were not trying to do anything wrong.

    That’s not horrible; Be glad you’re not in California, where not only is premium over $5 per gallon, but your car probably wouldn’t pass smog!

    Yeah, but your car wasn’t sold new in California; If you look at early 1990s sales brochures, you’ll see that many vehicles required extra cost “California emissions equipment”…

    That is a good point, you peaked my curiosity to look at the sticker under the hood to see what it says. Fox Mustangs got Mass Air a year early in CA if memory serves me.

    And also, I keep that patch hidden under the sun visor; Not one I’d want my mom to see, for obvious reasons…

    The incident at Buck? Don’t let that doofus keep you from enjoying any event in the future. I wouldn’t waste another moment of thought on it. You didn’t do anything wrong. And the guy sounds like an idiot. I bet he’s miserable. That’s not your problem.

    Early 1st Gen Tacomas sold in California had different exhaust and catalytic converters than the ones sold in the other 49 states; Don’t know what the hell you were supposed to do if you bought your Tacoma new in Florida or Kansas and then relocated to California…

    @ABA180 knows this story…

    Back in April 2013, when I was 24 years old, my 19-year old girlfriend farted in my truck on the first date; I also got a kiss on the first date, so that made up for it…

    Man, did it stink though! She blamed it on the fact that she ate prunes before I picked her up!
