Is there a reason why a TRD skid plate wouldn't fit on a 2021 Tacoma Limited?
I don't need one but think they look good.
The reason I ask is there is a used one available. It was a take off kept from a 2019 TRD OR that he traded for a TRD Pro. I can get it by trading so no cash involved but don't want to if there's an issue with fitment.

If your truck has that front air dam thing I think you just have to take that off.

    Thanks for the replies.
That's what got me interested in the skid plate. I took off the air dam because I thought it would look better, but that exposed that ugly stamped out sheet metal thing that's under there.
I couldn't think of anything that would interfere with the installation of the TRD plate but thought I'd ask here before I tried to get it.

We made the trade today & I put it on this afternoon. It was supposed to be a 2 man job but I only had myself. I used some 2x4 drop ends I had laying around to make a platform to hold it up while I snugged up a couple of the bolts.
I've seen some comments about the air dam removal could cost some gas milage but the skid plate appears to streamline the front of the truck.

Did it appear that the skid plate would interfere with the air dam? I don't recall what my Sport had from the factory but pretty sure it had the standard tin under there, then I added the one behind that. No interference with the air dam/lower valence

Yes, to install the TRD skid plate, the air dam had to be removed along with that stamped out oil pan protector (and that rear protector that you installed.) The TRD plate replaces both of those plates. It definitely gives the front of the truck a more aggressive look.

Anyone know of a spacer kit for the skid plate with a differential drop?

Your fuel economy will likely be impacted more from the weight of the plate than the aerodynamics.

I also got the useless nipple rings in the trade & put them on just for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

I see a pair of tow hooks, did they come from factory or is that a mod you put on.

Those are the famous nipple rings (I put them on). They're okay to look at but their use is debatable.

Damn you!!! Now I want one. But fill in the red with black to match the nightshade theme.
