WTF? They supposedly did the same when I called and I got different answers. These dealers are insanely inconsistent.

Richmond KY said they had 1 in stock and 19 on back order.. Try calling small town Toyota dealerships. I think there was a dealership in Kansas that had 2. Williamsburg PA told me the Portland area had some. Idk if he meant Maine or Oregon. I just moved from Oregon and couldn’t find any there, even in rural or coastal dealerships (didn’t check southern Oregon) California, Florida, Ohio and Michigan doesn’t have any I asked them to check their local dealerships’ inventory with no luck, right down to a 3rd party Toyota parts distributor in Ohio; same story, discontinued or back ordered. Looks like they are made in the U.K. So you might want to check over seas websites, shipping will get expensive though.

Nope. The ones he supposedly ordered for me were somewhere in the south, Midwest or east coast (I forget where exactly but it was definitely the other side of the country). Could have been those two you mentioned in Kansas. He told me they were the only two in the system.

I ordered them and now that dealer needs to ship them to Toyota and Toyota ships them to my local dealer and then I can pick them up.

I’m still skeptical they exist. I’ll believe it when I see it.

 

If he had to send them to Toyota he had a 20% restocking fee.. Hopefully he gave you a discount.. if you talk to the dealer tell them to go and touch the wheels with their hands. lol if you do a Google search Toyotas keep having them on their website, I had always called because I was skeptical. The guy in Williamsport (my bad) Pennsylvania was great, he knew where everything was. Ciocca Toyota. Super helpful. Have your part number on hand. ptr18-35090-BR,GR, or BL

 

I personally reached the point that if I find some used as a set of 4 then it’s meant to be. Otherwise I’m just giving up on getting them for new

Those are legit!

 

No restocking fees were a part of this. It’s just how Toyota parts work. If a part is at a dealership rather than a main warehouse but a different dealer needs that part then dealer 1 orders the part, dealer 2 (the one who has the part) has to ship it to a corporate warehouse (or whatever) then the part gets shipped from the warehouse to dealer 1. They don’t just ship from dealer to dealer.

So basically my local dealer ordered the part, the dealer who had it on their shelves has been notified to ship it out to corporate. Once corporate gets it they’ll ship to my local dealer.

Or at least thats what my dealer has told me.

 

I tried ordering them from a few places like stated every dealer has a different answer, this was the response i got from the most recent. Like clenkeit said i have my doubts to if these actually still exist new or not


For me it shows that there are 2 of these in a warehouse and a handful on backorder. It does not give me any ETA on when I can expect these parts I have not collected the money for this order in case you request to cancel. Furthermore, I place a special order to see if I can get any information on when I can expect these rims.

 

Someone on fb marketplace in Mass just sold a set of 4 very nice condition grey with tpms and 265/75/16 duratracs for a 1000 bucks … listing was up for 7 hours … im beyond pissed!

I was thinking the same thing, or they’re stolen and had to be moved ASAP.
