What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

What came in the package? There's typically a bleeder set with the MC.

Typically that's how they come. Throw it in a vice and use a socket extension and push tell there's no more bubbles.

 

I swapped out my abused durobumps.

Mutated the driver's side front fender.

And I finished swapping out the screws onto the rear fender. Hopefully they will be easier on my tires compared to the bolts they replaced.

I also massaged the cross brace to clear the tubes coming off the shock mounts.

 

Got the front end buttoned up on my PreRunner conversion.....




New Falken Wildpeak ATs 235/85/16s and new OME 881s which should settle a bit more.

Looks like you're missing the front diff mount washer thing.

@JKO1998 with all the new brake parts you've got going on it might be worth having the system flushed once you get the master back in.

 

With as much fluid as we’ve pushed through it this last few weeks it’s new enough

 

can we gets pics of the rest of your rig?

 

I was thinking more on the lines of getting all the air out but that was assuming you were still having issues bleeding the system.

my new master came with the threaded nipples and hoses to bench bleed. very simple and easy.

 

My son came home and parked his new to him ‘02 beside my ‘10 and ‘98. It’s looks like a Toyota dealership in our front yard! Haha

 

I knew that didn't look right, there was nothing there previously as I'm doing the conversion.

Anyone know a part number for this?

 

Pulled the gas tank today to swap it and install a low range skid plate.

Another classic dealer story. Ouch. Almost as bad as when Toyota forgot to tighten all 24 lug nuts…

 

Had to do it solo but I got my bed flipped back over and back onto the truck without to many issues.

 

Any ideas for a where a guy could get one of the c-clip things that attach the brake booster to the brake pedal?

cause apparently new ones don’t come with one

 

Forgot to report back. Changed the wires and spark plugs and the code p0303 has not come back. Hope it stays that way. She feels smooth at WOT!
