Anyone know what kind of weeds these are? I thought they were Ragweed but the leaves don't match any kind.

The weeds in my bosses yard grew 3ft in three days. Greens have been exploding with the rains. I thought they were overgrown when they were 3ft tall and now some of them are 7ft and doing their best tree impressions.

Heading to the north rim on a whim this morning. Anyone know if a particular road/spot will be less crowded? We camped north of Humphreys last night and it was surprisingly empty.

It's weird how that sort of worked its way into a bunch of people's vocabularies. Like using the word "literally" in a non-literal sense and whatnot. Funny how that changes over the years.

Sheesh I'm old enough to remember "I kid you not!" as punctuation.

Hey @BillW if you're still lurking around here, I know you worked in insurance/billing... benefit "years" go by the date you qualified originally, not rolling over on Jan 1st for everyone, correct?
I just picked up some prescriptions and the bill was way higher, but previously had been 0 because of out-of-pocket max from my stroke. Just wanted to make sure I understood what was going on vs the cashier screwing up the processing.:cookiemonster:

Didn't camp but went out last night to do some stargazing on a whim, my god... growing up on the east coast you're basically never able to escape from the copious light pollution. "Rural sky" there is a whole lot different than rural sky out here.

Nice little side trip out to the middle of nowhere, I think this is the first time I really was able to stop and look up and see the milky way so clearly.

Everything usually resets on January 1st, not the day you sign up.

Pharmacy benefit managers (PBM's) are a different breed themselves, and I'm not sure exactly why the price went up. But if I had to guess, I'm assuming it is because it is a maintenance drug, and you will be charged more for less than 90 day doses, or not signing up for home delivery. Sometimes they will have leeway when starting a new prescription (first 3 doses etc) then after that will jack up the price if you don't follow "their" rules. Give them a call and find out what happened, and what you need to do to save the most money.

If you're a native of Arizona or been here for a while you know The Rim is the Mogollon Rim and the North Rim is the Grand Canyon. It's just Arizona "tribal" knowledge. :)

i recommend FR 22 West of 67. Just before the entrance to the park. I am jealous, it is a special place.

I know this is a bit late but maybe will be useful for the future. This is where we drove around and camped about 3 months ago. There is camping spots ALL over this entire area. As you get out to the edge of the rim it gets more busy with the good spots overlooking the GC usually taken.

We drove on FR22 and a number of other roads on the west side of 67. That definitely seems to be the place to go.

Thats exactly the area we wound up, thanks!

Good intel, thanks. We'll be hitting up the AZ Strip in a few weeks starting at the Vermilion Cliffs then heading west. I'm hoping the Weather Gods will be friendly.

AZTW, I am in need of assistance!

I need to find a commercial address with either a loading dock or forklift in either Flagstaff or Phoenix (more likely I would imagine) that can accept delivery of my Alucab Canopy Camper.

It will be delivered on a ~5 ft by 8 ft pallet, exactly like the image below:

[IMG]cc_unpack by Michael Rickerd, on Flickr

It will weigh in at ~460 lb.

I will have it delivered in early November.

I will be able to travel to the address and be there to take it off of the premises the day it is delivered (no need to store it anywhere).

I will need it unloaded off of the delivery vehicle and then assistance placing the main portion of the camper on the back of my Tacoma, either via forklift or a few strong fellas.

I am willing to pay a finders fee and fee for any inconvenience to the business with the forklift.

I have tried the overland type shops in Phoenix, but none have the ability to assist in this manner.

I need to lock down a delivery address with OK4WD so that I can pay for a camper that they already have in stock, which they will hold for me until I can install it on my truck.

    Thank you.

Edit: Already taken care of through TW. Thanks for those who offered assistance.
