yeah I miss my dogs just not enough time lately to keep up with one if I got another. I do know what I'd get though... a Bernese Mountain dog.

Rotts are great dogs. Got a really bad name. Can be some of the biggest babies.

Newer Tacomas. I noticed the other day looking at another TRD Sport drive by. On the front parking lights. On my truck, only the top corners are parking lights, and the big orange bulb is only turn signal. But on this other truck I saw, the big orange bulb was the parking light and turn signal.

Was this a design change? Cause on my truck, the big bulb only has 2 wires going to it, signal and ground.

The big orange bulbs we have as turn signals are used as Day Time Running Lights. My truck and probably yours doesn't have that option.

Well I've been having a basically $#!% week of taco ownership :(

The tail lights keep blowing their fuse and nothing I do has been able to fix it, everything looks peachy until the truck starts and then they dim and the fuse blows...not sure what it could be that would be causing the problem but I've tried bypassing the trailer hitch wiring, following the wires looking for a short, EVERYTHING!!

So I pretty much hate electricity at this point...

So does anybody have a link to the wiring diagrams before I break down and actually buy them from a stealership?

From my basic knowledge of automotive electricty (I'm taking it this qtr), I may be wrong.....

The bulbs are dim b/c they are not recieving the correct voltage.

That means there is an unwanted voltage drop somewhere in the bulb circuit.

If the fuse is blowing, there is a short in the system I believe. A short means that the current has found an easier path back to ground rather than through the intended load and back. It pops the fuse because it has to much voltage going to it.

My taco is about due for the Oil Change. Think I'm gonna do the trans and diff fluid this time around as well. Been messing around with the aligment again, deep down it really does drive me f*%&ing nuts. I've got it set now and I think I've gotten it to a point I can deal with, find out when the sun is up tomorrow. I hope so, it's irritating. I'm driving home like an idiot with my cab light on the whole time trying to watch my steering wheel this evening.

Haha... I know the feeling about the alignment. It took me 3-4 times to get mine right when I did the 5100's on the front. It drove me nuts when my wheel wasn't centered. GL w/ the alignment.

My drive home wasn't as exciting, I took it slow and was slidding all over the place. This is when I wish I would just get tires and be done with it.
