Good screenshot. I can't see any reason why it won't launch.

Try doing a DTC Reset, turned everything off, and try again?

Ok take a deep breath here we go.

1st I sent my ID to VFtune the ID was 8966304A6000.

2nd Found out I need the latest TSB. Which what I found was:[IMG]

    Which I installed with Techstream.

3rd I got my files from VFtune and when I went to Flash the truck I noticed that the ID had changed to 8966304A6100. I sent an email to VFtune but haven’t heard back yet. The only reason it bothers me is that the Tacoma stock files that they give you has both the 04A60 & the 04A61. The files that they sent me in the pack are all listed as 04A60 but after the update using Techstream my truck appears to be indicating the 04A61.

    Does this make any difference?

There was supposed to be a chart posted after WHICH WHAT I FOUND WAS: but it didn't go through. Anyways it was the T-0036-18-04A61.cuw update.

If your ID is 04a61 and you are using files for 04a60, that’s your problem

I thought that may be it to, so with VFtune I tried to flash the stock 04A61 file and it comes up with the same error(E13). The update is what changed it to 04A61 and they say the update is required(latest TSB).

Is there a .cuw for techstream that will take it back to the 04A60. Hell I'll try that just to see if it will work. I just haven't found that file yet.

Going backward is not possible at this time. Maybe in the future.

    It is worth sticking 04A61.

If you click prepare ecu then clear dtc, reset ecu or tcu they don’t work. You need to just connect and click them.

Are you connected to the internet when you click prepare ecu?

Good stuff. I'm glad that it worked out.

You should notice the tune immediately.

No it didn't work out. I cleared the dtc & reset the ecu(that worked). Then went and put about 20 miles on it to see if I could flash it after all that but it didn't work. I am getting the same E13 error. Just to make sure it wasn't the 04A60 files causing the problem I tried flashing with the stock 04A61 file and it has the same error.

Went for all of it. Cleared the DTC, cleared the TCU, & reset the the ECU. Turned truck off. Turned truck on and prepared the ECU then tried to calibrate ECM and it gave me the same E13 error. LOL I think its testing me. Challenge accepted.
