Favorite Whiskey?

I may or may not have got rid of 2 bottles of the pappy 10 for 2200 total. I got one bottle left, and in a couple months it will be available again. I still prefer my regular bt to most others.

 

I may or may not have a Lot B to sell...just need a buyer like you found.

 

My wife’s a doc. Some of the surgeons she works with have more money then brains. The amount of money people pay on the Facebook groups for bourbon and scotch is mind boggling.
If you want it sold I can make it happen, shoot me a pm.

 

From bourbon to binos. These hold their value a tad better and I will get more use outta them compared to a few bottles!

I was not impressed. Not very flavorful in my opinion. I do prefer higher proof though. It is very smooth. Lots of things way better for what it costs around here (75.99)

are you telling me basil toast is $76 by you??? I’m sorry but that is sad, complete marketing bullshit….basil is an entry level bourbon with a fancy jacket. Toast is $50 by me and I walk by it every day

Vacation mode! Fly out for Wyoming in the morning to chase mullies for a couple weeks and visit family. Gunna be a good time, figured mine as well start it off right!

 

Vacation mode starts tomorrow around 9:30 for me. Need to pick out some bottles to enjoy during said vacation mode. Feeling like some old fashioneds and manhattans will be in order

 

Last couple of weekends I have tried a couple new bourbons but haven’t liked either as much as my go to Knob Creek with Lite ca

Got this as a gift from a friend who was with me in the Pentagon on 9/11/01. Jeff followed me out to the E Ring and helped clear offices - he was a young Army Civilian Contractor at that point. Bravery at it's finest. We had planned on linking by FaceTime to share a toast to 20 extra years - unfortunately I ended up in the ER passing a kidney stone yesterday. We'll do a make-up soon.

The dog tag reflects our office location in the Pentagon - 3D450 - and the other memento is made from a piece of the broken façade of the Pentagon.

Got the 10 year today. 2 bottles of it. One to drink and one to bookend my daughter’s birth year collection. One bottled and one barreled in 2011. The 10 year is fantastic. Bananas and butterscotch with creamy mouthfeel. A bit of heat but not overpowering by any stretch.
