Correct but does it matter right now for rubbing. That's the only thing I'm worried about right now. If I can get away with stocks uppers I will wait until I swap out the billies for kings which is on my up coming maintenence list I can see the rear leafs start to flatten so gonna revive her all around so gonna take some time to get the parts and all but I need the tires so if they won't shred from rubbing with stock uppers than I'm good. The backspacing or the rims are 4.5"

I’m running the same specs, just 17x8

the only problem I had, was the UCA slapping the coil at full droop.

Yessir. I was only at 1.5” of lift though

 

265/70R17s on 17x8 4.5bs 0mm offset
1.5” lift in the front 0.5” lift in the rear

 

Hey Dave, what does the KDMax Tune adjust? I just got a 2018 SR I4 and am checking out things I can or should do to improve performance.

Buy once, cry once. My two cents, if you plan on lifting above 2.5” in the front, You should get uca’s.

Plus if you plan to go with tires bigger then stock UCA are a must for a true and straight alignment.

 

Yes my plan is to get new uppers when I redo the suspension my tires won't last long enough to collect the funds for a full kings and darcar leaf pack overhull. As long as they clear the stock uppers off the rack I can do them next instead of needing them at the same time. Cause I need tires like yesterday. I'm a dry weather rig right now.

 

Yes I'm of the same mindset. That and you get what you pay for most the time.
