Regarding poll. I used to fear the dentist, hasn't gone in about 15 years. But last spring I had a terrible toothache so I really had no choice but to go. Since last may I've had a root canal, three fillings, and a cleaning. Got 4 or 5 fillings to go before hopefully my teeth don't constantly hurt. A good dentist makes a huge difference on comfort, I hate having someone all up in my mouth. What really sucks is the thousands I've spent by putting it off the past 15 years.

I just got home from a quick trip into town and seen first one for me (I think) and it was the same color. Nice!
    You going for it?
Myself...think I would also shop a little bit older Z06 models.
My oldest standing best friend had a newer Corvette given to him by a Uncle and he said that he just couldn't fit comfortably in it 6'4", so he sold it and paid off all his debt. That was a no newer than C6 generation though.

I do remember the C6 vettes starting in 2006 could only rotate tires side to side as they were staggered, 19's in the front 20's in the back.

Going to run on propane? I am going to look into getting a natural gas standby generator this winter

Yeah. No choice here. Propane or nothing for me. Natural gas is a few miles down the road, and I don’t see it coming here any time soon. Luckily generac has a setup that works with either gas.

I've heard pros and cons for both, not having access to nat gas makes it a no brainer for you obviously. If not for having to have a propane tank, I'd consider it just because there have actually been natural gas shortages where I live on rare occasions such as the crazy winter storm last February.

No doubt. 16.5 sec to 140 mph is no slouch.

NM had the same problem with natural gas supply a number of years when a cold front came through that dropped temps to -20F.

Most of our power outages are related to tropical storms/hurricanes which do take out a lot of power as Ida just did, though the gas supply seems to manage fine. It's the freak ice storm where everyone is trying to use furnaces and gas fireplaces where it ran short, and for that small chance case I'm hoping natural gas is still a pretty safe bet. My wife's parents are still without power from Ida a week ago but they've been running off their generac nat gas generator the whole time without a problem (aside from the massive bill I'm sure they'll be getting later).

I would have guessed it quicker than that. My last motorcycle as tested by 3 cycle magazine was sub 10 second at around 159 mph.

    Happy Labor Day friends!

Caught 28 fish yesterday, mostly small but I did hook a big catfish that broke my line at the edge of the bank, was fun trying to get it in though.

Neighbor had this kids kayak and our kids rode around on it, their first time ever being on one. We wound up buying it from them pretty cheap.

Remaking one of the bushings I did on Friday because of an "oopsie". Boss accidentally dropped it and stepped on it... :annoyed:

Pretty much! Faced both bushings down to 1mm shoulder and about to go try to install them.
