I took some photos of my interior today with the Army Green accents. Most of mine are from MESO. AG Interior 1.jpg

If you are looking for different knobs for your radio there are a few options out there. I wanted something that retained the illumination of the OEM knobs. You can get RAV4 knobs that will fit and work well. Also, AJT Design now is offering a version that, IMHO, looks great and also retains the illumination. And, they are offered in different colors. I have a set of Army Green ones ordered. I got to test out the black prototypes - so you can see what they will look like on the radio.

2021 off-road Army Green Retired. Bought oct. 2020 totaled July 2021.132FDA02-E837-40EC-BDCD-C3A8EBFC26BC.jpg Well I tried but could not locate an army green Tacoma to replace my totaled one.
So now I drive this. 474BBBA3-8676-487D-BE9F-8D6C9CAF6F4E.jpg
I let an army green Trd sport slip thru my fingers. I wanted to try to find one with premium package. When I finally figured out that wouldn’t happen in time ( already kept the rental an extra week then borrowed a car for a week) I decided I better go with Barcelona red before I get stuck with mgm or white. No offense to those who drive those. I’m trying to embrace the red. But army green will always be my first Tacoma. And I’m keeping the AG key fobs.

I swear we must have been twins in another life. And, I know our trucks were born very close to each other. Every time I do something to mine, I look and you've done the same thing. About the only difference is I have a matching shell.

Ouch. Hope everyone was okay. No worries. You can still be an honorary AG member.

I guess it was pretty bad. Thankfully no one was hurt. All the air bags went off which is a big contributor to it being totaled. The roads were wet and the guy lost control on a curve, crossed the center line and I was right there. No time to react. I was just driving then bam! It spun the truck 180. On the plus side the safety features all worked.

Thanks. I fell hard for the army green that’s for sure. But I have move on. Hopefully in time, it won’t be so painful every time I see one. I plan to console myself with a bunch of new mods.

Glad you’re ok (physically and emotionally). I get the draw to the green. I’m a sucker for it too and I just love how it looks in all the different light angles. You’re like the 9th person I’ve seen with a totaled truck since I joined in MAY and everyone walks away with a few bumps at the worst. Sad to see but glad it’s a safe truck

The red is a nice color on the Tacomas. It was my second choice after AG. I think you're going to like it a lot. You'll have to change your username though:transformer:

I like that red too! I remember bringing AG home and thinking maybe I should have got that red? It’s a hot color- enjoy! Glad you came out unscathed! This pic right here had me second guessing myself

I definitely do like red. And if there hadn’t been an AG on the lot that day I would have bought red and never looked back. As for the username, it took me like 5 months just to settle on that so give me some time.

Still Looks good covered with dirt and snow. That’s a plus. That’s what mine will look like in about 4 months.

Finally got around to installing my lift & wheels / tires this weekend. Also knocked out several of the interior mods that had piled up as well. This is our first tacoma, I love how its coming together!

My AG TRD Soort is my first Tacoma but my 4th Toyota (technically as the other three were Scions) and my first took a front end collision mostly drivers side. It was hard enough to toss the engine through the passenger side fender and deploy all airbags and my only injuries were friction burns from the seatbelts. 45 mph approximately to zero in a split second. The safety of Toyota vehicles is unmatched in my eyes. Glad you’re okay and the Barcelona Red looks great!

Not to get off topic, BUT. I will agree to the ability of the trucks to take a hit
I got T-boned in an intersection by an illegal alien with no drivers license!
Hit me on the passenger side front wheel so hard my rear tire went over the hood of the car he was driving!
Good thing I put the lift in, or my wife sitting ion the passenger side seat my have been seriously hurt or killed.
We both walked away. Wife had a couple bruises.
That said, my Army Green is in transit with a delivery date of September 19!
