    Hell yeah. 5 year old oil is perfect for that thing...especially 40w.

    Next time around throw some Valvoline Maxlife blend 10w40 in there. It's nice and heavy and I find it on sale for under $20 all the time.

    That is the plan, and curiosity about the health of the engine. I had to cut open the filter with my grinder so results were a little skewed. Minimal gold looking flakes and the magnetic drain plug just had some slight goop on it. I'll take it! Car is finally running well, ever so slight oddness at 2500 rpms, but with all the troubles I've had with it I'll take it and leave well enough alone. I've gone down a serious rabbit hole getting this thing running well. Next is to collect suspension parts here and there for the winter refresh where the shock towers and rockers will get patched. Gotta find some kind of pearl white to blend the rockers in...

    No bites on selling it and it's a fun little car to beat around in. So I'll fix the worst of the rust and beat the shit out of it. Also gonna get a kickin' stereo setup for it :D

    Removed the backhoe and went to install the post hole digger to start the footings for the shed.. step 1: ‘install 3/4” bushing (included) to top hitch pin blah blah’. There was no bushing included. Off to the Kubota dealer tomorrow.
