I’ll look at this however it sounds like the “glitch” I’ve been chasing for months. Driving off of cruise and gradually applying more pedal to keep moving up a slope, occasionally can “trap” you in 5th regardless of pedal input.

This somehow causes the truck to be operating with both the pedal and speed outside of the shift table parameters. We aren’t sure why this happens considering all the shift points and logic are met to invoke a downshift.

Sport will not have a test version ready for a week or so.

Correct each tune is separate from the other and will be an additional purchase. However, returning customers will receive a discounted rate for these tunes.

With that much of a change to your exhaust pressures, try and reset the LV and let it settle in. However, during the settling period, run the truck a bit harder than usual. This way the engine can adapt to the higher rpm low pressure scenarios.

If that doesn’t help, let me know and I’ll look into creating a slight restriction with valve timings

I bet $20 this has to do with ASIC being activated during these times, which also messes up with upshifting issue with 4-5, 3-4 under the heavy loads. The upshift schedule is out of the window, one way to shift is to crank the truck up to 90+ mph. Those Opt torque tables don't make any differences
Oddly, I see ASIC is being activated below 2200. Tables call for 2700
You Pro guys should really go back to the "master" and have him look at those bugs. Upshift/Downshift in S6 is working, so this is not some kind of hardware limitation , simply the code issues.

Yea it definitely seems like code issue of sorts if ACIS is activating outside of parameters and shifts are not referencing the values assigned to them.

I’ll bring it up with Mat but not holding my breath on a rapid solution/fix. They are focusing on bringing additional ECUs and platforms at this time. I think 1st gens are almost able to be tuned.

Still holding out for TCU access as well

Pretty sure the acis has load switches as well.

I think that's what the other tables are under acis.

I also noticed that one low and one high are the same value, possibly a change point from low to high?

Potentially. They are generic in how they’re labeled unfortunately. Hard to tell what they change of affect at times

I have recently tested another tune and can confirm what @TermLimits said about there being a “glitch” for the highway speed dead pedal. Same situation on another tune and same result. 75mph, decent grade and quite a bit of pedal and nothing. The tune was even an aggressive throttle tune and it still didn’t help any. Not a terrible thing, just takes some pedal play to get around it.

@TermLimits - When coming from Ovtune 2.0 Reg Auto Thx to VR should I Reset ECU and Clear TCU or just Reset ECU?

The issue is that OV uses some sort of conversion to convert output shaft speed to who knows what value. He said it is close to the real #. I personally have not seen it. Either his math is off or there are other variables that directly affect shifting points.
But, the glitch is fixable by moving high accelerator speeds down until you have a downshift in expected region. Just need a right "tester"

You shouldn’t reset in this instance. Only if the truck begins to exhibit issues or strange behavior.

Little update with urd crossover ypipe . So the tune goes more into 4th . The truck seemed to lose bottom end

There definitely is more power to the top end . She scoots good in the higher rpms .

I'm curious @TermLimits if it's wise to reset lv and ecu and have it relearn first thing in the morning with truck being cold and temperature being cold?

The tune still seems like it isnt settling well with the urd crossover ypipe.

Its worth a shot, I know that major exhaust adjustments tend to significantly change the back pressure/flow. The truck may be fine once you reset and let it relearn.

If it keeps having issues after that, let me know and I'll see what research into the tubes I can accomplish. You may end up needing a fully custom file

Upgraded to 2.1 and it hard to believe the only thing adjusted was octane learning. Drives much better, and I’ve always ran 93. Nice job @TermLimits

I believe it’ll be all good soon enough. Just getting through the initial shock and adjustment to it all.

I’m surprised as to how many have actually mentioned this. I believe that the timings are not adjusting nearly as drastically for octane adjustments. This will naturally keep the engine smoother
