We already know that they'll fit on the stock rims and stock lift, but what if I get these rims?

Anyone think they'd rub? I did get a 2.5in lift.

 

No idea what size you're looking for, but 8 inches wide sounds like a bad idea for skinny.

 

8" wide rim will fit a 255 but that's really about as wide as you can possibly go

 

The tire size is 255/85/16

Im more worried about there being rubbing with the UCAs or anything like that.

 

If you maintain 4.5" of backspacing with your new rims you shouldn't have issues with rubbing UCAs

Offset is basically where the center of the wheel is. 0 is centered in the wheel. A negative offset will push your wheel further outside of your fender. Positive will tuck it more inside.

LOL. I'm just saying that there are so many scams on EBay these days. There are sellers there who would buy & resell rejects/blemishes as new. Too many horror stories for me to entertain purchasing high dollar items there.

 

So these are 8' wide rims, 4.5" back spacing and +0mm offset. Do you think the tires would rub or should they be fine?

 

Every truck is different so no one can say for sure what's going to rub or not. The proper backspacing will mostly just ensure that you won't rub UCAs or other suspension components.

With that said I'd guess that you won't have trouble with rubbing on those wheels with 255/85's. If you do still get some rubbing there are other things you can do like adjust your cam bolts to move the front wheels forward and/or getting high caster UCAs which can also assist in moving the front wheels forward in the wheel well. A good alignment from a competent off-road shop can help with this. Beyond that there's fender trimming, pinch weld smashing/cutting, and the ever present CMC/CMR option.
