I was just looking at it on the Subaru website. Pretty slick looking.

Silly pellet pooper quit pooping pellets in the middle of my cook. Should have gotten enough smoke, though. Finishing in the oven.

Yes, it is. I'm looking at having to pull the motor and auger before my next cook and clean everything out real good.

And here I was about to pull the trigger on a pooper and toss the stick burner after yesterday’s 10hr cook with wildly varying temps!

Yea, don’t do it! My pooper does the opposite, feeds too many pellets after a few hours of smoke. It’s a disaster when it does that. So I only use the stick burner (ole reliable) now. Use the pooper for grilling some though.

Most likely have shot myself in the foot by not storing the pellets properly. My bet is they got juicy from the humidity and rain and have clogged up the feed tube.

If I had seen the issue earlier I might have fired up the WSM, but it has also been raining today...

I have mistreated mine in the past few months, leaving it uncovered and not storing my pellets under cover out of the moisture.

I’m in the market for a new smoker. Sold my last one for what I paid for it. Need to find outside storage first though.

The Pit Boss Laredo I picked up does decent enough, but I'd like to get more smoke from it. That could be the pellets I've been using, though.

strange. I’ve left mine uncovered most of its life and never had any issues with water intrusion into the hopper.

the charcoal pellets give off a lot of smoke but I found they also burn twice as fast. I usually run pitboss competition blend.

mine has gotten 1/10 the use this year as it did last year. Then again I was also unemployed for most of last year lol
