In an important victory for California gun owners, the Fresno Superior Court ruled today that California's new ammunition regulation law is unconstitutional, and blocked further enforcement.

It's a start. I love Ca, but sometimes our regulations are a bit whack... At least our knife carry laws aren't that bad compared to other states.

This is great news. I am moving down there in a couple months and this would have sucked if it stuck. I know it will get fought over but for now this is a great gun win.

Yes this is great news! I had been bulking on ammo with what little money I had, in a panic trying to do it before the 21st. Now I find out it fell through. lol oh well, I have more time to bulk up on even more ammo now.

I'm glad, my goal was to pick up a 1911 by the end of the year. It would have been a shame if it was too hard tp get ammo afterwards.

    Thanks for the post.

Many of our laws regarding guns and other self defense items don't make sense, but CA is still decent in terms of knife regulations, at least Bay Area isn't too bad. I know LA is worse and counties set up their own special laws. We could be like Chicago which isn't allowed to conceal carry any folder larger than 2in. :(

And fwiw, I'd call your situation an overzealous cop who is unfamiliar with local knife law.
