Don't... it doesn't leave my belt lol, not in this shit show of a world we live in. I know some people store it in a lock box, which is locked to something like the seat. If someone wants it bad enough, they will find a way

    iv read half the responses

there was another thread about ‘ gun ‘ decals

any mention of weaponry brings out the ‘ bravado ‘ !!!

    smart $$$$$ is always to be prepared true .................................. Y E T

    dont draw attention to self

    dont be a hero

any loaded response will change Ur life

im surprised little mention of 2 excellent console vaults at reasonable $$

a Stolen Gun will be used in a felony...................only a matter o time

rules/regulations are choking legal gun ownership resulting fewer venues that allow legal carrye on the move & at home

    safe/secure gun ownership is imperativ

arrested/fined is only to be treated like a criminal

Is there any room at the top for items? Or does it take up the whole console? TIA

The console is small on these trucks, the safe takes up basically the entire space. The safe sits flush across the top of the console opening, the lock mechanism sits above that. You could probably fit a couple packs of gum on top under the lid.

I know what you’re getting at, I’m not interested enough to engage in a political discussion.

Locked up in my vehicle...LOL. I drive in the intercity area late at night, red lights are potential danger zones.

Lockerdown is the way. The higher safes are pry resistant. I have seen way too many posts about guns being stolen out of the vehicle.

A small pelican case is a pretty cheap alternative to a built-for-purpose safe. If I do need to leave my pistol in my truck for any reason, I modified a pelican case to lock in under the rear seat that I keep a padlock on.
