Not all cheating gets caught but it was caught on TV or from stands and officials that are hands on didn't?

It isn't cheating if it falls within the rules

Dang. I typed a whole thing then deleted it. Okay, so: Darlington looked like it had a cool finish. Larson came up short yet again, driving the wheels off the thing at the end. I missed it all. I was floating on a lake eating ribs. On to Richmond. Richmond has never excited me beyond that Busch vs Earnhardt battle of yore. When I was a kid, Richmond was Rusty Wallace's playground. The track has boasted a broad roster of winners over the past twenty years with no dominant driver since Jimmie Johnson's juggernaut era. Kyle Busch has 4 wins here but it's been three years since his last win here. Who knows what Saturday night brings? We know who's hot: 5, 11, 12. Richmond is not a good track for Blaney.
    The Chevy's are fast.
    It's Denny's Home track.
Penske has had good luck here over the years.

Followed the rules. But they're good so it must mean cheating.

that's what all this about, really? That's racing! Nothing illegal there. He's blocking his line.

Kyle was pissed. Probably shouldn't of handled it the way he did but it's over and done with. No harm, no foul.

I didn't see this as being too bad a deal in an event that sends guys scrambling around 36 cars on pit road several times a day. The worst part is throwing his team under the bus. Kyle is a setup guy. He KNOWS how to set up a car as few other drivers do. But he can't tell his team what he needs without practice time. They can drive sims all they want, but it's not the same as a butt dyno. At 36 years of age, I don't know what it will take to straighten his attitude out. He's in another multi-year slump. He's frustrated. Dude won 27 races over a five-year stretch (2015-2019) and only has three wins over the past two seasons and it's all about not having practice time. This is his worst season since his rookie year, statistically.

well said. Facts are facts. Frustration is the key here. Does it give Kyle/Drivers a pass to say or do whatever the want. No!

Personally, I think the media has too much access to drivers. Let the team say something on Monday rather than shoving a microphone in their face moments after an accident.

YES! Shoving a mic in someone's face a minute after something bad happens is going to provide excitement, whether negative or positive. It's good TV/Radio and that's all the media is concerned with.

I can't imagine being in a good mindset if a mic was shoved in my face at work after making a big blunder.

You mean exactly what Hendrick has done in the past? Ross Chastain did it this year as well.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
LOL, Kyle is a complete dick but this is a stupid fine. They did not want to ding him for the language and being a bitch so they threw this at him. Perhaps NASCAR should not let morons stand in the lanes around the garage opening. I mean that is where the cars have to go and the brakes and whatever else might be torn out of it. The man is a professional driver, odds are he is not going to run over someone. They were standing in the middle of his place of work. Bitch move by NASCAR.
