    Hey guys!

CEL went on - so I plugged in the computer, and got everyone's favorite - P0301.

I changed all 4 spark plugs, all 4 coils, and I 'reset" the computer by unplugging the negative terminal of the battery.

All was fine for 25 miles - light went back on. I reset the battery again, and was fine again for 150 miles, until the CEL went back on.

So, i'm not sure where to go from here. I'm not super mechanically inclined, and i'm not sure I can tell any major difference in engine sound/performance when the light is on, or its off. Maybe you could!

Anyway - where do I go from here?

-Is it the wires from the coil to the (no idea..)
-Is it something having to do with compression? ( wouldn't I feel a very sluggish car?)
-Is it a broken "sensor" that I can replace/clean/fix?

Thanks so much for all of your help!

    Ryan

    Hey guys -

    Thanks for the quick feedback!

Its a 2003 Tacoma - 192k. No major issues so far - regular oil changes, and wear and tear items are replaced as necessary.

Haven't had a chance for the pic of the #1 plug (which one is that? Nearest to the bumper?). But they're very new plugs/coils. About a week or so old.

    Thanks again :)
