Question.. How will this send drips to the ground when Im driving? Wont it just dribble back all over towards the rear anyway at driving speeds?
Or does this only help when parked... Not hating, just curious as to how it works vs stock .

Stock , is currently dripping on your frame , creating rust . Any a/c drip mod will redirect the drip away from the frame.

Ok I understand what you are saying, but to me that only makes sense if the truck is parked. As soon as you get air movement, water will not keep going straight down to the ground. It would seem that it will still hit the frame as wind pushes while in motion .

So If I point even a 20 mph leaf blower at that tube , I cant see how water dripping wont be affected . It would still make its way to the frame and various other places underneath the truck .
Too much air pressure/turbulence to allow it to drip straight down to the ground. I still don’t get what I’m missing here…. I understand the water dripping when truck is parked. But I drive with the ac on…

Wow, sorry I’m late to the game here. The whole concept, is to direct as much liquid as possible down and away from the frame. The way the factory drain is, it drips directly onto the right frame rail. So by providing a way for any condensation to drop down and away…..no condensation on top of the frame. There’s absolutely no way to stop all moisture getting to the frame, unless you stay home on rainy days and drive around puddles. Here’s a pic of the angle on the exit hose, exit is straight down.

The stock drain drips on the frame like Chinese water torture. Erroding the paint a very miniscule amount each time. This redirects it. The issue isn't the frame getting wet lol. It's consistent drips directly ON the frame.

This is pretty sweet OP. Good luck!

this would also work on a 2nd gen, it didn't really change between 2nd and 3rd gen.

Can I just purchase the milled adapter? I already have the hose and zip ties.
