I’ll have to look into it. I appreciate the info, I’m waiting on my bumper to come In and I have to add my winch. Later this month. Those are my next mods and I’m done for alittle while.

For sure! I do this stuff for a living so I have a pretty in- depth knowledge of how it all works. Feel free to message me if you ever have a question! A good way to save a little coin is to buy the pre-setup diffs from east coast gear supply, install them yourself and then send them your old ones as cores. You can order them with any locker/ gear ratio you could probably want with many options. They're a very reputable company. Good luck with your build!

Change oil and diff fluids. transfer case soon. Need to source the oil. Had 5100's set at 1.1 in the front and yesterday put in a 1/2 in spacer for the rear. Alignment done today. It was a good couple days.Tacoma 1-1-2.jpg Tacoma 1-1-2.jpg

I was just thinking about this Jeep in my rear view today. Much newer, but definitely built up. It’s funny cuz they sometimes look like someone is giving the butthole pucker/mouth face.

Are you referring the "angry eyes" grilles that seem to be so common nowadays with Jeep owners? :D

Almost nothing lower than a thief, except of course for a loser who destroys other people’s property just for kicks. I’ve had both done to vehicles over the years and it would just be great to just once catch someone in the act

So this is what I've learned so far with these SPC.
After my alignment was done my caster on both side are set at 1.8 degrees. (I'd prefer 2.0 degrees) Very minor rubbing while reversing. Truck drives great! BUT!
Having them on setting "E" isn't enough.
I'm going to set them at setting "F" and have the alignment shop set the caster at 2.0 degrees. That should eliminate all of the rubbing with NO CMC done to the truck. 285's should fit perfectly.
The more I mess around with these the more I seem to learn. I will be updating the links in my sig. to reflect this new information.

It’s really a shame what happened to your truck. I have to wonder where CA is headed. I think Prop 47 set the stage for a decline that may take decades to fix.

Maybe try installing the glass breakage sensor when things get fixed. PT398-35160. Best of luck https://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com/oem-parts/toyota-anti-theft-alarm-system-pt39835160

Great looking truck! Glad you enjoy the sumos too! Seems you had the same experience i did with having to squish them in there a bit.
