Honestly, I think I’m done. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Took a few years to get it where I wanted, and dozens of camping trips and off road adventures to decide where changes were needed, but it’s there now. I struggle to justify any further upgrades as it seems to be fitting my needs as it stands.

I wanted this truck to be stockish, but capable, with only reliable and proven parts on it. A “sleeper” if you are old enough to know what that term means. My goal was to maintain the truck’s reliability, drivability, comfort, and efficiency for long road trips, while being able to tackle some reasonably gnarly trails to access remote camping spots. I am a dedicated ground tent-camper so the lack of RTT is intentional.

I feel I achieved my goal, and the only thing left to do in the future is to change the goal at some point and turn the thing into a full blown SAS bush-buggy if and when something new comes along.

Really clean and it’s nice that you don’t have a bunch of garbage bolted to the outside of it that will never be used.

    Looks a lot like mine!

There’s always another mod…it’s never finished. Good looking truck. As Toyota says, “go places”.

Nice truck! Not to be the "tongue in cheek" reply but per the above, wouldn't a stock truck satisfy these requirements?:D

Looks sharp OP and only slightly "overkill"

It's never done, but damn, that's beautiful. Everything you need, and then some, without extras slapped on. Great work, enjoy!

Thanks. Kudos to C4 for making a really nice product. The bumper is beautifully welded and totally solid. Heavy, because it’s steel, but also confidence inspiring. You’ll bend the truck before the bumper.
