It's very possible that the tweeters have a built in filter on them, most after market tweeters do. If they do you don't need anything else but to wire the amp at the correct ohm load.

You can wire the tweeters in series if there is a filter and you're good to go. You're best bet however would be to return all of it and just go with a component set up. You should be able to find something in the price range of what you've already spent

Time to bump up an old thread. I ended up hooking up the coaxial Orions to the amp and disconnecting the factory tweeters connections so all thats running are the Orions in the lower part of the door. Problem is I'm hurting for base bad. I found an inexpensive box, sub, and amp package that I'm sure is not top quality but its really all I can afford right now. Can someone tell me how to wire this into the setup I already have? I've heard something about a distributor block but don't know anything about them.

But how do I integrate it with the amp I already have? I'm guessing it says to plug it into the back of the headunit. Don't I need something to split the power and signal between the amp going to the speakers and the one with the sub?

You don't integrate it, run separate power, maybe ground in the same spot. The inputs looked like speaker level inputs in the picture so you could go from the output of your amp, but you'll have to wait until you get it to be sure hence...

My question is wouldn't the install kit tell me to connect the sub's amp and the headunit using RCA cables? I already ran RCA cables from the headunit to the amp I have now. Do headunits have 2 sets of RCA plugins? If not what do I do?

What I am saying is you can't know what to do until you get it and see what options you have.
