Actually, I didn’t even have to catch them; I just snatched the little bastards off the tree!

 

Five more enemy aircraft (four pictured; Killed the fifth after I took this picture) that I couldn’t officially log because the app is malfunctioning...

 

Stupid SQUISHR app still not working!

The app finally started working again yesterday; Over 4,000 enemy aircraft taken down in the last year!

 

I think the 2020 Spotted Lanternfly season is officially over

Sucks, because it was a perfect outlet for my frustration with this damn pandemic!

 

It has been a while since I've posted to this thread; As you can see, I've killed over 4,000 Spotted Lanternflies since September 2019...

 

Unfortunately, I've only killed one this year and it was out in Lancaster County last weekend; I saw two on the garage at work yesterday, but they were too high for me to reach...

 

I would if there were any...

I've seen less than 10 all year and only killed 1!

 

Last year, people would get several hundred in a day; These are the numbers for today, so it's obviously not just me or my area...

 

That little blue dot marks my approximate location at this very moment, and the green pin next to my dot marks the location of the two lanternflies I spotted (but didn't kill) at work yesterday; All of the red dots represent just a few of the last 500 lanternflies killed...

 

Bucks County (at least the part where I live) doesn't seem to have a whole hell of a lot of activity this year...

 

These things have been a problem in Jersey for awhile.

Absolutely hate em.

 

They've been seen in Maryland and Virginia too; Started in Pennsylvania when some accidentally got imported here from China in 2014...

 

The lanternfly I killed at the Wawa in Lancaster County last Saturday...

 

I saw one at my house the other day but I wasn't fast enough to smash it and it flew away...

 

Numbers have been way down this year; Like I said, some people (myself included) were annihilating hundreds of the little bastards in a day, but these are the record numbers so far for just before 1pm on Friday, September 10th, 2021...

Anyway, the ultimate goal
Was to eradicate them as they are an invasive non-native species, and that's technically a good thing; However, something just seems suspicious here. It just seems weird that that there would be so few lanternflies this year; However, I did get some of my best killing days in late September and early October of last year...
