    That’s awesome. That’s a memory they’ll remember forever, that’s for sure.

I was messing with them saying “yo, you can’t do it that good from the start, what are you trying to do? Take my job?”

It was definitely good for them and good for me as well. It’s fun to teach and have the people you’re teaching be excited about what they’re learning

I wanted the one with the cart but it was not in stock so I had to settle. I’m way too impatient and this thing is getting put to work on Tuesday. It’s a pretty big machine, doesn’t look like it in the pic. I’ll put my 215 next to it and take a pic soon.

Also need to take a pic of the whole family line up. :)

This will be a dedicated aluminum machine. Gonna try out the stock gun before getting the alumapro.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I own all my own cylinders but one i lease only because I never took it back yet

If your lucky enough to have a Fill plant local to you getting your owned cylinders might not be to bad know all there own cylinders will get filled first and the customer owned cylinders of major accounts .

With all the in fighting and trying to steal accounts it seems things change hour to hour as to who does what as far as exchanging or filling cylinders

For the most i just swap cylinders and go since I no longer get Cylinders delivered to my Shop

Fun little project for this morning. I recently got into RC and already broke the plastic bumper up front so I made a new one out of 14 gauge. It’s not the prettiest thing but I didn’t want to spend hours on it.

We were doing so much small work at another auto shop last week. I went ahead and got a little setup to leave at their place. Miller should sponsor me by now.

I’ll check soon! These blue boxes have sling shot my business thru out the years so I support them 100%. Now I’m up to 6 units. :anonymous:

I thought about it some more and I think I’m gonna take out my back seat, never use it. And secure the new welder in there for these outsourced jobs we get.

I finally got notice today that the last shipment of my Langmuir Crossfire Pro CNC system has shipped. I ordered it May 21st. They are now advertising order to ship date of about 30 days. Guess I picked the wrong time to order.

If it weren't for the fact that they shipped me the most expensive components in less than a month, I would have been worried they were about to go broke. It was just the frame components they couldn't ship.

Looking forward to some quality time in the garage this Winter riding the learning curve.

Parts are trickling in for a new tool build...

If things go as planned, I should be starting the build next off hitch.

I hear tell some manufactures are really having supply chain difficulties.

What would take a few weeks is now a few months.

Some are trying to hold off to prices stabilize some what

You will wonder how you managed so long not having a table

    Best of Luck!!

Having a CNC table is just amazing! Like said above, you are going to love it!

I used wander around noticing welds, now I notice how many things are done with a plasma CNC or Lazer CNC.

Rendering out parts is now done on the computer vs cocktail napkins.

The only measuring now is the final part just too be sure it came out the size you wanted.

I'm very happy I spent the time learning the software and building my own table.

I'm about 50/50 on weather I should have just bought a complete table or built my own.

I’ve been using cut send cut recently. These parts showed up yesterday.

    CD0A9DE5-07EE-4EF4-83CC-AA4520173F5F.jpg

I love my plasma table, but I’d spend a few hours cutting and prepping these parts, and with a day job I’d rather spend that free time welding. I can also design more intricate parts with the laser’s precision. I’ll still cut large parts or rush stuff. But if I have 3-4 days to wait for the parts I’m really digging paying a few dollars extra and having little to no prep time. But the newness has also worn off on my table, we’ve been running it for the past 3-4 years, in that time it probably paid for itself 20x’s over.

    Noooo!

    Don't say that!

I hope I can find uses for this thing for a lot of years...at least I better!

I'm not tired of welding yet, so I can only hope that I tire of both at the same time.

You will. It’s my fault, I had a buddy who worked for me for 18 months and he would cut and prep the the parts from my table. Then I’d come home and weld them so he had work for the next day. He got a real job a few months ago, I had forgotten how much time the whole process takes. I still enjoy the design and cutting portion, it’s just hard to find time for the clean up portion. Once I move my table into my shop it’ll probably see more use.

The only reason I started using cut send cut is cause I needed to do some stainless and 6061 aluminum, material is too expensive for me to get mediocre results so I subbed it out. I’m lucky if I get 8 hours a week outside my day job for projects right now, so it’s really just about trying to get the most out of my time.

Thanks, it's been a long Summer waiting for that last shipment.

Yeah, I am just afraid of the money I'm gonna dump into steel playing with the darn thing. I paid for it with money from selling my Harley, so at least I can say it was fun money that bought it! But then there's all the consumables, the fact that my laptop is not a touch screen, I want a tank and pump to store the water, the water treatment, I already bought self levelling casters for a base, I want some welding screens, ...:spending:

Oh well, moneys' gotta go somewhere I guess.
