Well, it’s had less problems than my 2nd Gen Tacoma. Currently getting my U-Joints replaced. Wonder why Toyota cheaped out and only included greasable U-Joints on the 4WD models.

 

Did you forget to grease em?

 

Other manufacturers use sealed joints.
They all cheapen out
You changing them all ?

 

Only the 4WD models came with zirk fittings, but mine isn’t a 4WD model.

Just got out of work to find this... I want to appropriate @Tacoma Mike's grumpy sticker. Perfect wrap up to a 13.5 hour day. (Yes I know my inspection is out...)

Let's tally the hit list up... in the last month, my frame has broken, exhaust broken off, left blinker stopped working, clutch/something related started making noise on downshifts, and now this. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and laugh.

 

BTW: THAT’S MY STICKER… LOL

I've seen what that looks like, also what it looks like when a horse thinks a Subaru hood is a tasty carrot. Surprising amount of damage from that one.

I texted my boss that picture and he simply said "that's shitty." Kinda well put really. My parting thought is "eh... it kinda matches the rest of the truck now." I think my hood is the only body panel that's still nice.

 

Just to cap off the day, our microwave electrocuted itself when I reheated leftovers for dinner.
