Any mod that is stupid for me is the one that you won’t use.

people who carry rtt and never use it or use it once a year……dumb

putting on all terrain tires that are over size and some expensive suspension and never going off road or not knowing how to use that off road. (Have a coworker with a tundra that has a nice lift kit and huge tires running them at 50psi and he is complaining that it’s stiff off road. Hmmmm)

In my book, every mod should have a purpose.

now don’t look at my profile picture with my trd pro grill with raptor lights…..

I have a lot of the mods that are mentioned in this thread. But I do off road a good bit and have some recovery gear I’ve used and some recovery gear I hope to never have to use, and then some that I would never even try to use! (demon hooks:eek:) I’d rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it:notsure:. I love all my mods and after seeing this thread, a small part of me might actually hope to annoy other TW guys and gals. If you don’t like it, well…… you know what you can do with yourself:D

Technically if it was like distressed clothes they’d be out there going to town on their paint with a wire brush

For all you snorkel haters, I was there once too. Just wait till you are out on the trails having a great day and someone in your crew hydrolocks a 1 year old truck with less than 10,000 miles in a shallow hole where folks went in before and after with no issues.

It's a real crapy feeling. You might just change your mind on the snorkel.

Be sure to periodically lubricate the hinges on the fuel door. Mine seized and ended up having to replace. The female part of the hinge is very thin metal and will actually fold before the hinge. After repeated folds it will just break off. Apparently a common issue. I have since noticed a few neglected 2nd gens with no fuel door.
