    Yup. My work should last. It's a product called "Lifespan". It's a New Zealand pine with a high resin count, which acts as a presentative. And it's got 2 coats of an oil primer. No finger joint crap. I spray cut ends with good old shellac and then prime again when that dries. It's expensive, but well worth it. Pressure treated isn't allowed in this historic district.

    $350 for the product for this.
