    Anyone with a newer Tacoma with connected services recently get an email about the new Toyota Data Privacy Portal? I know people here and definitely over at 4runners.com have been concerned about what Toyota does with the data our trucks transmit. I’d be interested to see what everyone thinks about it, what Toyota is trying to do with this app, etc. Anyways, here’s a screenshot of what I got:

    No shit, but it’s obviously a CYA move by Toyota due to the growing concern among people who are worried about data tracking.

    I run a completely different OS , VPNs , end to end encryption, sandboxed apps ect lol.... If they want to know what I'm looking at they got their work cut out for them.
