All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    WTB Camper for Tundra

What up peeps, be on the look out for a camper to go on the back of my 2010 2nd Gen Tundra RCSB.

I would be interested in a GFC or AT Summit/Atlas. While I do like the 4wheel campers, I am wanting this build to stay lean and mean ;)
Not interested in a shell or topper.

Good price. What truck? Says it couldn’t fit 265s without a level…

He’s got an older cat-eye Silverado. The one that’s a bit shorter than a Z71 and such.

Yeah his price is real good, I’m super bummed they’re too small for my Ford.

I know little to nothing about Chevys, but it sounds like he wasn’t trying hard enough :sawzall:

It’s not my problem, or my business, but its hard to wrap my mind around 265s not fitting on a full size pickup.

Regardless, good deal for someone that needs tires.

Shit someone can have my BFGs off my runner. These tires have the worst road balancing I have to experienced. I have tried to balance these things 3 times now, feels like they are just jacked up from the factory.

You don’t want these bro…seriously feels dangerous as hell. We did not drive the runner to NC last time because the shake was so bad, you can push thru the wobble, but it’s really bad bro…and you know how much time in the seat I have with tires.
I actually have no idea how the road force is this bad. Feels like you have a brick inside the tire!

I need a set of 285/70/17s. But I think I wanna go back to a C Load, the heavier tires feel a bit much for the runner..which is strange because my KM3s feel just fine in the taco.

I thought it was odd too since he’s an auto/aircraft mechanic, but hey, like you said it’s his business. Haha.

He’s already got his hands full with one plus a few kids, I think he’s at capacity. Hahahaa.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I was thinking about getting a 17 to have 285s in a SL tire but I really like the amount of sidewall staying with a 16 inch wheel. So you feel a 50 to 60 pound e rated our trucks isn't as bad as some people say.

I get the whole 16s have more rubber than 17s, but is it that significant of a difference? I mean, it's not like either are running rubber bands on 20s....

Rubber band mud terrains on deep dish chrome is about the stupidest looking thing I have ever seen on a truck. It is only to be surpassed by the recently outlawed Carolina Lean.

In our parking lot we have a 1st gen tacoma with 285 75 16, a 4th gen 4runner with 285 75 16, a 1st gen tundra with 285 70 17, a 3rd gen 4runner with 285 70 16, and my truck with 265 75 16. I definitely see a decent amount of sidewall difference between us all. I do feel like it's not enough sidewall that one truck could make it over an obstacle that another one couldn't just because of the amount of rubber. But both trucks with the 285 75 16 look so freaking good. Haha.
