I’ve been kicking around the idea of picking up a second car for a while. I wouldn’t even call it a daily driver since I’m working from home if I’m not traveling, but something to make the round trips to the airport a little more pump friendly and minimize wear and tear on the truck. Finally the stars aligned with a bonus from work and I found a decent car to fit the bill. Something good on gas, cheap to work on, and fun to drive.

I present to you, my new-to-me Toyoburu.

It’s a 2013, 6 speed, and relatively unmolested. It has some blemishes that I am working on, but seems to be mechanically sound. I even managed to score a 2 year/24,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. I’ve wanted one of these since they were first announced, and I have to say it was worth the wait.

Jokes aside, that's a wonderful compliment to the Tacoma. They're just the right amount of sporty and really shine at the range of speed you should legally be driving at. I love them and hope you enjoy yours.

I think they sell it as a four seater for insurance purposes, but yeah, I can’t fit my hand between the driver seat and back seat. They were specifically designed so you could carry a second set of tires, helmet, floor jack, and tools to the track with the back seat folded flat.

It’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Lol. My brother has a 2019 CTS-V (aka four door Corvette). Super fun car, but you could end up in jail well before you hit 4th gear.

It might be weird but this is one of those cars that I remember seeing for the first time years ago and going, "Yeah, that's a cool freaking car." Since then I've loved them and I keep almost buying one haha.

Same. I'd get bored and hop on the Toyota or Subaru sites using the "Build and Price" to spec them out. When I was sim racing I had versions built for different classes in Forza Motorsport 7. It's even one of my favorite cars to lap the Nürburgring with in Project Cars 2 (I can now say with authority that the physics model in PCars2 is considerably more accurate).

Had a buddy down in Hunter's Creek with an orange twin turbo FRS that got smashed after someone tried to race past him in the rain (he always drove slow in the rain because of his tires), lost control, and slammed into the side of the car totaling it out.

So i got a new bicycle, nothing too fancy just a cruiser for around. I read in Florida you need a front and rear light when it gets dark out. I ordered some cheapy ones off of Amazon. Now my real question is can i take off my front and rear reflectors now since i have the lights or do you think i should keep them on just incase?
First time owning a bike in florida so idk what is the norm lol

Id leave the reflectors on if I were you. Lights front and back and use them. I've been stopped by police at night for not having both illuminated.

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Haven't cooked a Brisket in a while. Cost has doubled since Biden took office.

Doing the final rest in the cooler until dinner.

Are there any beaches left in Florida you can drive on besides Daytona? Are there any strictly 4WD only?
