Sooo kinda like the guy that was blocking the road that was flooded at the hospital.
Who wasn’t a cop and had no right to tell you to stay out?
A little perspective is a good thing.

I didn't realize what he was doing; He only had one side of the road blocked...

What's done is done; Would I do that again? No.

Do I regret doing it? Also no; I got some cool pictures and I didn't put myself or anyone else in danger. But I wouldn't do that again because I don't like dealing people who treat a simple misunderstanding like a federal crime...

The thing when your in the process of selling your business.Down to the final finishing of the deal.

You can not really communicate with your customers even employees sometimes these offers come out of the blue and your customers can feel they are being ignored.

I just ordered propane to fill up my tank. The cost is $1.97/gallon if you order a fill and pay with a credit card. That's not a bad price at all.

The whole propane vs oil with efficiency and cost per btu makes my head hurt tbh.

The math is close enough I can't justify the ROI on replacing my oil boiler with propane. Plus I use electric for my domestic hot water all summer anyway.

I would think propane and NG would win hands down over oil. NG in our area has been depressed for a long time, I've stopped using my pellet stove years ago cause of cheap gas.

I hear you !! The thing I like about oil furnaces simple to work on!

I can put the 100 gallon tank on the truck and go get fuel quite easy compared to wrestling 100 pound propane cylinders because once the driveway turns into a Bob sled run no one will deliver anything.

Living in bumfuck nowhere NG is not an option.

I payed $2.50/gal for oil. My furnace is roughly 80% efficient meaning a gallon of oil is around 112000 btu. 44800 BTU per dollar.

At $1.97/gal for LPG, with a 95% efficient furnace, you get 87020 BTU per gallon. 44172 BTU per dollar.

Add in the cost of a $2000 heater conversion, a propane tank if you're not going to lease one from the fuel company, installing propane lines etc, where the hell is the ROI?

The best I can come up with is simply make the house itself more energy efficient.

Never would of thought it was that close. With no NG then ur are stuck between the 2 and the companies know it I guess .

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    This ^^^.

The thing that pisses me off about the NG is that I live in the heart of the fracking area in Central Pa. There are miles and miles of old coal and strip mines around here. All of them had well sites when the boom went through...and that doesn't include the already existing ones. But do you think I can get NG run to my house, NO. I can see the main pipeline, the old and the new. But they won't run new lines for locals to tap on to.
