No, you have the option of not playing with your phone while driving. Worked great for a century and still does.

Even if you don't have AA or ACP, you still have Bluetooth to answer calls.

We all know how dangerous drunk driving is, and no one would make excuses for people who do. We've learned over the past decade that playing with your phone and driving is far more likely to cause and accident than driving drunk. Yet people still think it's OK.

Sorry, but there's no excuse for touching/looking at your phone while your vehicle is in motion.

Haha. Well, there’s a reason why things get popular. Blacking out badges used to be a mod until Toyota caught on. Rumor has it, the pro-style grill will become the norm for all; hence why they stamped the new pros (I’ll bet some fool will figure out how to do that to their truck, too).

Axes and shovels mounted in the bed that still have the stickers on them and probably always will have the stickers because the people that put them in there will never use them.

That is going to be hilarious. With stolen grilles, cats, and TGs being a thing, someone is going to figure out how to steal the stamped fenders in under 20sec.

Other than using it as a GPS? No difference than using the head unit for GPS (which with my 2017 SR5 the GPS nav is shit). Not buying a new head unit just to be able to run GPS that works on my phone.

So people with carplay or android auto or changing the radio station on older cars are more dangerous than me?

I don't text or "touch" my phone while it's up there.

    You're making some sweeping generalizations........

I never understood how plasti-dipping anything got popular. My tacoma's previous owner "modded" the grill, rear bumper, and emblems with that trash. I keep catching my buddies picking at it like scabs..

I’ll defend this one. I use my truck regularly. I also work out of it. I’m own a mobile detailing business, so mine stays spotless. Especially after trips. If you saw mine it would scream mall crawler but it definitely gets used.

Drove one of these more than once off a Mike boat into the surf during beach landings with water over the hood. If a snorkel is for water passage then you must have one on the exhaust. Even then the 4 banger would stall and well the waves just love you.

This times 1000X The fact that Apple created and patented software and technology to lock a drivers (but not passengers) phone while a vehicle is in motion, but chose not to implant should be criminal. Having screens in vehicles makes as much sense as having a tablet mounted on a hunting rifle or handgun, or a bicycle. Just focus on the task.

That's why Toyota calls it a desert air intake. It's not a snorkel. The ecu will short before the intake comes into play
