    Fabtech lift kit.
Hello, I am reaching out to anyone who may have had an issue with a Fabtech lift kit. I bought my 2019 Tacoma brand new off the lot with the lift installed. It came with 35x12.5 tires. I have not abused this truck in the slightest bit. When I was traveling on a gravel road I noticed a sound and the truck feeling different. Upon inspection I noticed the lift extension holding the sway bar pulled through the frame. Has anyone heard or seen anything like this?20210909_122230.jpg 20210909_122309.jpg

Unreal. Was this a "Build" from the dealer? I would start with talking to them!

So they installed the lift and the frame rusted the sway bar bracket it looks. If the dealer installed it it should have a warranty or guarantee of some sort. Rusted holes are not part of a quality install. Make some noise. Plus sway bars are safety devices.

I do find that a 'bit' hard to believe. Typo on tire size maybe?

However, are you beyond the dealer provided warranty for that stuff?

If so, sadly it's all on you.

Is this a salt country truck per chance? Seeing rust, but no rust prevention material is why I ask.

Wow. My dealer offered a lift for mine which consisted of 3 inch spacers in the front. All I could think of was all the bent front shocks

You guys are aware the lift in question is a 6" DB lift, correct?

Get it welded. Shouldn’t cost more than a hundred.

As engineered from Toyota, the sway bar mount at the frame was not designed to have the extra 6" of vertical leverage from the aftermarket drop bracket lift.

Are all SB spacers like this on DB lifts? If so, that's problematic. The load that was previously split between two bolts is now taken mostly by just one due to the shape of that SB mount spacer. Not good, beyond the other DB lift issues.
