Man, I have been in a bitchy mood today.

I sent two karen like messages to the team - one about how its difficult for me to run my samples when I'm spending my day cleaning your glassware, and the other was a moderately unprofessional public shaming about an unlabeled pallet that someone plonked down in the middle of the warehouse, that I had just spent yesterday cleaning.

The same people that put me in charge of bringing the lab to 5S standards are gonna get bit by their own monster.

It happens. Sometimes the shit is just too great to not become a bit of an asshole because people don't want to take the time to think things through or follow procedures. Happens to me at least once a week and I can usually blame my boss and/or 1 peer for this. I feel your pain and know your struggle. Once asked someone if they were purposefully trying to fuck my day up or just abnormally talented.

Don't care what you call it. Edna Jo is a great lay. I'd have her 'over' for supper anytime.

My grandad used to call the all-you-can-eat restaurant a "squat-n-gobble."

That's my occasional term for dinner now.

    :fistbump: You good man?

Power was restored Tuesday night and we got home last night. Feels so good to be home! After seeing some of the damage to some of our neighbors houses (people across the street lost half of their roof) we feel so lucky.
Sad so see all of the destruction here and talk to people who lost everything.
Attempted to pick up some groceries and the stores are really hurting. Some still on back up power and can’t keep anything on the shelves.
People are still being nice to each other and helping those in need.

Wasn’t the rain or flooding with Ida it was the wind although we did get 15+ inches of rain in eight hours I think?
Reports were the sustained winds were equivalent to a higher grade tornado the lasted for hours.

They sure will. Our neighbor and his sister who we hadn’t met until last night moved all of the debris from our yard and driveway and piled at the street for pickup.
    So cool!
