    Mine is through an add a fuse - good point. Mine also doesn't have a "parking mode" it's either on or off. But it works great for what I want it to do.

    The factory plug in the glove box is live when ignition off, then the on in the center console is live with the ignition off.

    It seems like the live plugs are hidden.

    I had the front camera hooked up in the glove box for constant recording.
