    Hey y'all,

I have a 21 Taco TRD Off Road... Pretty much loaded out.

The hood switch is not working properly... it is giving an open code when it is actually closed. Is there a way to bypass it?

Have you taken it to the dealership for warranty work?

Well, any tapping into electrical for a jumper could be denied later for warranty work. Advice is to take it in to replace the switch. Use that warranty that you paid for.

If you decide to investigate it yourself, the switch is below the hood latch, in front of the radiator.

Personally, I would have it checked/replaced by a dealership under warranty. You paid for it, use it IMHO.
