Shit, I camped at the campground next to baby lion’s back this weekend and some kid hydrolocked the motor in a Jeep Patriot Friday night in the water pool that built up at the end of it. I tried to winch him out but he didn’t have any recovery point on the front. Told him to have his buddy yank him out from behind so they did at some point that night, but the jeep was still there when I left yesterday morning.

I have been using https://parts.springhilltoyota.com/ they have beat every other place I've looked at on price and most of the time if you order more than $75 shipping is free.

Sand Hollow is to 4x4s what the La Brea tar pits are to saber toothed tigers. Last time we were there I think we counted 4 or 5 recoveries.

Another fun sight is to head over to Smithsonian Butte after a good downpour and watch as the people who drove up there in the morning wallow around in the mud on Crybaby Hill.

Yes. When we moved to southern Utah one of our musts was to be within a reasonable distance of Gooseberry.

After a good afternoon soaking, the trip down into Grafton is a lot of fun. Most people familiar with the area drop into the south side (Apple Valley) and cut back to the north on Sheep Bridge.

Next time I drive down Crybaby Hill in the rain I plan on playing the Benny Hill theme when passing though the carnage.

Seriously. What makes it extra shitty is that I have no idea how or when it happened.

And that’s a hard shell I’m guessing? You’d have to have hit something good

Yes, hard shell. It went deep.

Yeah, it’s just on the corner. It seems like it’s something you would at least hear it.

Depends on how loud your tunes are I guess.

I’ve had some pretty nasty limbs skip across my dog box and tear carpet and not noticed for awhile. Atleast that’s what I figured anyway
