I took both of my babies to the Great Smokey Mountains recently. What a trip, such a beautiful region.

 

The new one looks like it could be a hit.

Trying to decide if we’re gonna ride the BRP on Friday/Saturday… man it’d be fun but 13+hrs in one day would be tiring

has 18k miles, no issues really, kept it in tip too shape. Had a fuel leak from the tank due to a bad gasket, that was trivial to fix. Bike has infinite torque, I love it

 

I was wanting like a 959 panigale but I think a 1098 would suit me better. I like the idea of dry clutch, Desmo valves, and no aids. Similar hp to the 959 but a way rowdier machine. How are the vibes? Do your hands go numb after a while or is it pretty smooth?

 

100% agree with that. Ive owned a Monster 821, and a 1999 996 as well, and the 1098 is the right balance of raw power but still smooth. And the dry clutch is very nice for many reasons..

rowdy is the perfect adjective.

 

Gonna need the 9 gallon tank too... wonder how many miles you can go on that?
