Everything I’ve used over the years varies in length. Even legit military issue can vary with manufacture.

Will def order one for my 3rd gen and take measurements to see if it fits. If not, I can just resell it.

I’m also in Southern California and could be very interested in offering my 3rd gen for measurements.

    Awesome!

My shop is in Santa Ana (Edinger and the 55).
The way I'm thinking will be the most efficient is to have all the rear seat backs, storage bins and backing removed before arriving that way it will be easy to measure/compare to the 2nd gen prototype.

If there are any factory accessories in the back (factor subwoofer, power rear window ect) leave them in. Non factory equipment would probably be best to remove as not everyone will have it.

PM me so we can set up a time. I think both the 2017 and 2021 will be the same but it will be good to double check to make sure everything fits properly.

I got 2019 and I can take measurements and send those numbers to you. My rear seats are already removed. I also have power rear window as well.

Anyone else from the last group buy still waiting? I'm 99% sure some crackhead didn't steal it off my porch in the last few weeks (Nest cam), but you can never be certain.

    Budfriendguy,

Do you know if others from the group buy received their panels?

I was part of group 23 and my panel was apparently shipped to an address that I had requested to be changed after the homeowner died from COVID forcing me to move. Keep in mind this was after nearly one year of waiting which is very far off from the described run completion date and I advised of the address change several times. I was never provided a tracking number and can’t verify where the panel actually went. Doc did say he was working on resolution but that was several months ago and I haven’t received an update or response in about 90 days.

The first thing I’m hoping is that he/she is actually ok. I never wish bad things on anyone and these are strange times. Secondly as I read through the threads I think there might be several people who didn’t receive panels for whatever reason.

I would be interested in knowing how many others are in the same boat and if so how was the issue resolved. Completing 25 of these group buys is no small task and I truly believe that any errors would not be intentional.

I was also part of Group 23, and placed my order in August of 2020. In March 2021 I received a panel, but it was not the correct color. I messaged doc and he replied immediately saying the manufacturing company screwed up at least 4 orders mixing up addresses and boxes. Doc said to hold onto the panel I received and he work on finding where mine was. We messaged each other a few times in the next few months. But now I haven’t received any replies from doc last 3 months. I hope he’s ok. At this point I would be good with just keeping the panel. I would just need to get it re-powder coated to black, it’s currently orange. But I haven’t had any luck getting in contact with him. I’ve done business with doc before and never had a problem. Great customer service before and after the sale. There’s got to be a good reason he’s not replying. I hope you find yours budfriendguy.

Hopefully everything's all good for them. I'm not sweating the wait since everything these days is backordered and delayed. :playball:

My concern was that maybe they were arriving for people and mine had been swiped by a lurking porch pirate

I just discovered this thread. Sorry if this has been asked. But what’s a good place for molle attachments and bags etc. just want some nice storage bags to attach.

Recommendations please.... A solid but not overpriced panel (to fit between the rear seats on an Access Cab) and a fire extinguisher/mount for said panel.

    Hi,

I have not yet received my panel. Am wondering how many others are also waiting?

Those who have received their GB25 panels, do you recall the name of the business that shipped them, location, etc.

I know that these days there are all kinds of bottlenecks and impediments but the silence from DocLoco concerns me.

    Cheers,

    Murray

Same. Currently chalking it up to COVID delays since that seems to be the norm these days, so I'm not sweating it. Lack of communication kind of stinks, but maybe there's nothing to communicate yet?

I'd think you don't get through 24 group buys without being pretty reliable.
