I'd like a supercharger routed into 2 turbos.

Because I saw a dude with a hellcat on youtube do it and lay 1300 hursepowers down

Boats have been running dual charged engines in diesel and gas configurations for some time.2FD1EB99-E9AD-4740-B2ED-131477A834F6.jpg

Just look at @Mojo Jojo ’s pontoon boat making 75mph passes. 2BE3D50D-6C68-413B-AAF8-C7FAD0195025.jpg

Wonder if that would fit in my lawn mower.....

And having piloted/passenger'd a pontoon boat, that dude has large testicles.

It’s a direct replacement for most Briggs & Stratton mowers

    Perfect...

Speaking of more power: anyone good with the LS's or know someone that's good with them? I was thinking of possibly doing a budget HP build on the ol' Silverado work truck, but while I understand the basics, I'm not sure of the details as far as what to buy and how well they play together, etc.

    Then it'd be a pre-runner! Nah.

I am trying so hard to be reasonable with this truck. For the engine I just wanted it to have more HP than the Tacoma, because V8. Mild build in the 450hp range. All NA.

It'd be fun to have a work truck that can smoke a car or two at the lights.

Are you planning on sourcing the components and doing it yourself, or paying for the work? The reason I ask, is that the cost of paying someone is probably twice what you think it is.

Some things are outside some peoples skill levels. Some people also dont have the time. Just asking.

I know because I got a roundabout estimate for an ls swap on my truck..

Dave’s truck already has an LS. But please share the details of the estimate!

Not even sure yet. We're I'm dreaming stages right now. It shouldn't take much more than an intake manifold, cam, and heads.

It was fucking stupid enough that I didnt go any further.

Lets just say I was thinking about an LS7. We are already in the stupid zone now. Add around 10k for install.

I shoulda snagged a r2.8 for 50% off from cummins when I worked there haha. I think that would be a neat route to go for an offroad engine, but the 4runner might be a bit heavy for that

10k install doesn’t seem too bad if you walk away with everything working properly. I say do it Nick!

One of my buddies from high school has an r2.8 in his 4door wrangler. It will creep up a hill in first gear (it’s a manual) without touching the gas. Not sure about it’s highway manners. I don’t care for diesels personally. The newer ones have much better drivability, but a 3rd gen Cummins dodge 3500 manual was the bane of my existence in DC traffic.
