so, for anyone who's camped here before, i have a few general questions...... is there water at the site? if so, is it drinkable? and is this the kind of place where we can leave out tents set up during the day while we wheel, or should we pack averything up while we're out?

Yes there is water. They have full running water bathrooms with hot water. There is power at each site also. Yes u can leave everything set up the whole weekend. There is a ranger lady who lives at the camp site and the campsite is also has a big horse stable so it always has people around.

perfect. i have a 7 gallon water tank with a tap on the end which is great for camping, but it takes up a lot of space an is obviously pretty heavy, so it's good no know i don't need to bring that.

how close are the power outlets? i have one of those portable work lights i was going to bring in case we need the light to fix a truck or something at night. just trying to figure out how much extension cord to bring...ya know....just in case

Ryan, don't lie. Your truck may be a 2WD on paper, but it's on some kind of mud based crack cocaine in real life. :D:D
Don't they make one of those party balls? We could fit that into a cooler easily. Haha.

    Does Plasti-Dip count as a mod ?
I don't know if security of our tents and gear will be an issue or not.

FWIW I recall seeing lots of signs posted around a few weeks back during hunting season about some hunters / campers getting their camps broken into. But that was up at the north end off Trail 10.

I thought they quit making those? I used to get them all of the time then they disappeared! Someone told me BudLight quit selling them at least in Florida.

As an update I have one more girl coming so I am up to +2 for planning purposes and will only be camping Saturday night

I haven't partied with one in months, but that link was for a store in FL and I'm pretty sure the Total Wine around where I live still has them.
