Man I looked all around the floorboard. Guess I’m gonna have to take things apart. I’ve tried to shove a magnetic grabber down there and can’t seem to find where it goes or catch anything. I’m sure I’ll just shake it loose eventually

 

never knew different models had different size calipers. How much were the calipers vs just getting new wheels?

 

I think that is stock on SR5's. Mine came that way.

I installed the TRD noise maker (aka intake) yesterday. I picked it up on the Labor Day sale. Pics to follow, I’m sick as hell today and haven’t even tested it out yet.

 

Well this is only confirmed on 4Runner from the research I’ve done.

The Sport and Limited had bigger rotors and calipers than the SR5 did. The Sports/Limited came with 17’s while the SR5 came with 16’s.

My 4Runner is a hand me down I’m restoring, a 2008 model. It needs maintenance all around. So buying new calipers wasn’t too much of a hassle. Only $100-120 for both fronts, not bad at all.

I suspect the Tacos use the smaller 4Runner SR5 caliper because the 16 inch wheels went right on no rubbing. When I get a chance I’ll do some measuring.

Probably nowhere lol. He may have gotten it from someone who bought it but eventually didn’t want it? There was a Labor Day sale for 75 shipped but it’s over now :/
