When I walked my dog this morning it was about that temperature here, perfect for a long walk. I didn't even break a sweat.

Just watched a waitress sneeze into her hand then reach up and rearrange someone's bacon strips on a plate. Ew.

If he's taken after Andy's dress (cough) habits, there's some merit to his dismissal.
Hope he finds a better employment fit soon.

    Dislike.

Sorry to hear, but one of the best things that ever happened to me was getting fired from a job. I ended up where I am now, and I'd have never found it if not for that.

    And happy birthday to him.

I ended up being diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both hips about 7 years ago. Left was worse than the right. I had a procedure done on the left one called "Birmingham Hip Resurfacing", rather than a traditional full on hip joint replacement. All they do is replace the ball on top of the femur with a metal ball, and put a metal cup in the pelvis as the new receptacle, so the entire femur remains intact, and I have no long term restrictions after the initial 6 month healing period. Thankfully, I have not had a single issue since that surgery, and so far the right hip hasn't given me any problems either. The surgeon was pretty certain the right one would need the procedure within the next 3 - 5 years.

After looking at the x-rays today, it is definitely shot. I don't think there is any way I could get around a THR. We scheduled it just before Thanksgiving so my wife will have holiday time off and the kids will be home to help out around the house.

@Tacoma Mike the approach he uses is anterolateral, so I guess somewhere in between posterior and anterior.

Well, bummer. I do hope it all goes very well for you. At least that's a very well known procedure so it should go very smoothly.

That's not callous, these kind of felons need to bypass the judicial system anyways. I'm sure family will be on the news tonight telling us what a GOOD boy he was, at like 2, and demanding justice!! 43 charges, Career felon!! I FULLY SUPPORT our Sheriff and BCSO, wish all the LEO officials around the county were as straight forward as him!! Just wait till he goes after the Judicial System, can't wait to see how this plays out..

I’d be in a wheelchair and on pain meds for the rest of my life if not for this.
It did give me a second chance at life.
    I am forever grateful……

clicking the "like" seemed not too appropriate but it shows exactly what LEO goes through every day in this country, Glad that both deputies survived and that swift justice was served to the criminal. I liked the Sheriffs attitude- "evil can not be dead enough" Thank goodness for a good red state that allows it's LEO's to do what is necessary.
